Saturday, in Montigny, France!

We spent a relaxing day in the city where our host, Leigh and husband Alain live.  We walked along an old canal, that runs through the town center.  This area has a walking outdoor shopping area with a variety of shops and restaraunts, a park that parrallels the small canal.  We ate crepes for lunch at Creperie next to the canal, under an umbrella.  It was a wonderful lunch, we also had a pitcher of cider drink.  It was very relaxing, but a lot of walking, we having a great time learning about the area.  I added a few more phots to the site, so click on “More Photos” to the right to view the photos.

We have changed our plans slightly, we are heading back to Mainz a day earlier.  Leigh is in high demand, as the only American “english instructor”, she has to work early the day we were to head to Mainz.

Tomorrow, we will see some more sights, but NO shopping all stores are closed on Sundays in France.  Keep reading the Blog.  1 more week!
