Museum De Louvre

Today, we spent a day at the Louvre Museum in Paris! It is indescribable, but with a few words, breath-taking, even spiritual!  I was told if you look at every piece of art that the Louvre has in it’s collection for just 1 second each, it would take 4 months to see, none-stop!  Da Vinci, Rafael, Bottacelli…Man, it was cool!DSC_0012

We took a lot of photos of statues, and Carla and myself, I know most people won’t want to see me, but that’s to bad!

The Louvre is to big to see in a day, or maybe even in a week.  We spent the whole day at the Louvre and only walked through about half of the museum.  The museum is even below ground under the center courtyard!

Since the movie, The Da Vince Code, security around the Mona Lisa is tight.  If someone were to touch the glass frame, the painting would automatically slide down into a vault!  Cool, but No I didn’t try it!

Versaille, is on the agenda for tomorrow, and maybe even fireworks at the Castle in the evening.  Keep checking out the site, to see what we are up to next.  We have been having a great time.  Everything has been wonderful, especially our host/guide!  This has been a fantastic experience.  Love to all the family and friends, following along!
