Tour of Old City and the Gutenberg Museum

Alex toured the Gutenberg Museum today.  The group got to view the Gutenberg Bible, which is worth over 10 million euros. No photos were allow to be taken in the viewing room.  Richard, one of the students, was allowed to turn the press and print out a single page.  After the Museum,  they walked over to the Mainz Cathedral (Dom) where they were able to tour the Cathedral before the 3pm mass.  They took a walk along the Rhein River during a brief history lesson.  After that, back to the city center, where it began to rain.  The day started out sunny to end with the students crowded under a few umbrellas.  It was a great, everyone semmed to have lots of fun.
