Welcome Party in Mainz

Today Alex and the all the students participating in the Gapp program  had a Welcome Party at one of the host family’s home.  There was plenty of great food and the the host dad grilled bratwurst for the party.  The kids look like they are having a great time.  Check out the phots on the right.  Frau bess has been updating the families with a blog she created.  I have pulling some of her photos, to add to my site.  Frau Bess said, that they woke up to rain this morning and was worried about the Welcome Party.  It doesn’t seem to have bothered their plans.  The temperature was about 60°F and light rain today, tomorrow is supposed to be about 55°F, a little cooler.  Tomorrow, they will be going on a tour of a the center of Mainz, a cathedral, and the Gutenberg Museum.  Awesome!
